Since
its introduction in 1996, the Summer Glove has become one of the most popular
gloves in the United States. The reason is simple: it feels good. It cradles
the hand, it is extremely durable, and it breathes. And like the other gloves
in the Ultimate line, it has no seams to chafe, or blow out.
The Summer Glove is a knit glove with a textured latex palm and fingers. During the manufacturing process, each glove is placed on a hand form for the dipping process. The fingers and hand on each form are in a slightly bent position. The result is that the Summer glove comes out of the dipping process with an ergonomic shape that reduces hand fatique. The gripping, ergonomic design makes the glove particularly well suited for tool work, such as pruning, raking, spading, etc. Tradesmen have discovered the Summer Glove often prefer them to leather gloves. Stone masons and professional landscapers use the Summer Glove where leather gloves fail when they get wet. If it's hot out, you'll appreciate the breathable poly knit backing. The gloves are machine washable. These are terrific gloves!
